Lindsay K. Miller asked:

Whether you are suffering for the first time, or have a continuing problem with hemorrhoids there are many natural methods to consider in your treatment. One of the things about hemorrhoids is that there is a wide range when it comes to the severity of cases. Mild cases will provide some discomfort, mostly just when trying to use the bathroom and at other times with some soreness around the rectal area. More severe cases could involve prolapsed hemorrhoids, internal or external hemorrhoids that have become very swollen and may lead you to suffer a great deal in your day to day life.

In order to start on a program of hemorrhoids natural healing it will help to have examples of what hemorrhoids are and what causes them. Hemorrhoids are varicose veins, just like varicose veins that occur on other parts of the body only with hemorrhoids they happen in an unfortunate area and usually cause pain too. Since hemorrhoids are caused by an insufficient blood flow to the veins in the anus, remedies that help to increase this blood flow will most likely provide relief.

Your first step for a natural cure for hemorrhoids is actually exercise and movement. This will aid the blood flow and standing instead of sitting will make sure that there is no additional pressure placed on the area. If you are in severe pain and cannot exercise than a lying down position will be better for you than a sitting position.

When it comes to applications that you can place on the sore area for hemorrhoids natural healing you may want to stay away from the synthetic chemicals involved with most over-the-counter ointments and creams. Look for a topical cream or liquid that is made from witch hazel. Witch hazel is a natural astringent and will soothe the pain and help with the swelling. It can be purchased in a bottle and just applied with toilet paper. This may help to make cleaning yourself after a bowel movement easier.

A sitz bath is another natural remedy that can be tried to help with the pain. Some of the more severe hemorrhoid cases sometimes are not helped by the sitz bath, but it is worth a try. A sitz bath is basically just bathing in a few inches of warm water. But when done several times a day it can help the pain and reduce the swelling involved with hemorrhoids. It may also help you to relax, which may be hard to do for the more severe cases.

Felix Godwin asked:

Bleeding hemorrhoids refers to an aggravated form of normal piles when rectal veins start bleeding. It can be mild to very severe with itchy sensation. It makes your life miserable by not allowing you to do normal activities like sitting at desk or driving.

There are several treatments of hemorrhoids available in the form of topical creams and oral medications. However many of them treat the symptoms giving you temporary relief. The real cause of the disease is left untreated therefore hemorrhoids come back?as soon as? you stop taking?the medicine.?

It is worth mentioning here that hemorrhoids?can be treated with?some herbal supplements that have become very popular recently. These supplements come with topical creams or lotions combined with oral pills which treat the disease from inside. Once it is treated you must make some life style changes so that the it does not recur.

Just make sure that you eat a lot of fibers and drink plenty of water so that your bowel movement remains regular. Reduce your intake of fatty and oily foods.Remain active and take exercise regularly. Simply keeping yourself free of constipation is enough to prevent hemorrhoids unless there is some other complication inside your colon.

Some of the popular procedures to treat hemorrhoids are

1. Injection sclerotherapy : it uses a chemical solution to shrink the hemorrhoids.

2. Rubber band ligation: a rubber band is used to cut off the blood supply to the affected area. It is known to work very well to treat bleeding hemorrhoids in a few days.

3. Laser technology: laser beam is used to burn the affected tissues.

4. Natural cures: a modified herbal formula called Venapro is known to cure the disease within a few days.

Tony Perez asked:

In this article, we will examine constipation as a cause of hemorrhoids, also known as piles, and varicose veins. First, we will look at varicose veins and their causes, and then we will review some causes of piles and some simple natural treatment for hemorrhoids.

Constipation

There are many hemorrhoid causes. Constipation is one. Piles are nothing more than swollen veins in and around the rectum and the anus.

Constipation can be a physical obstruction in the colon or a poor unbalanced diet. Insufficient intake of fluids, primarily water, will also cause constipation. The stool becomes hardened and can remain too long in the colon resulting in constipation.

Varicose Veins

For both varicose veins and piles, pressure exerted by the muscle strain and pressure from bowel elimination causes them. The veins in our legs are the pathway for blood to run back up our legs. There are valves in place in our legs that prevent the blood from flowing back.

The strain and pressure brought on by constant constipation will damage the valves in our legs and thus not allow the free flow of blood back up our legs. The lack of free flow of blood manifests itself as ugly and unsightly varicose veins.

Much like the veins in your legs, the veins in your anal area feed the sphincter muscle that helps to eject fecal matter from your body. Those veins will balloon and burst with the strain and the pressure exerted from continuous constipation.

Hemorrhoids

People that habitually experience constipation are likely to get them. With the strain and exertion of constipation, the veins in the rectum and anus become extended and some can be pushed out. They can be itchy and painful. One telltale sign is bleeding.

Below is a partial list of some other causes:

genetics prolonged sitting pregnancy heavy lifting obesity

There are two types, external and internal.

External hemorrhoids protrude from the anus. They are the ones that cause itching and burning and can be painful if they develop clots. If the flow of blood is cut off, a clot is formed, resulting in a condition called thrombosis.

Bleeding is common with internal hemorrhoids. As hardened stool passes through the rectal canal it rubs against them and causes bleeding.

Those that appear grape-like and are outside the anus most likely are prolapsed. These too are very painful.

Natural Treatment for Hemorrhoids

Many people have successfully overcome this annoying and painful condition with natural treatment. Common sense will tell you that drinking plenty of water, eating healthy foods, and exercising daily will promote regular and easy bowel movements. Thousands have been cured with natural holistic treatment.

Using a simple proven system, a natural treatment for hemorrhoids is a much better way to cure them permanently. You can rid yourself of them naturally. Thousands have.

In summary, the strain and pressure exerted by constipation can cause both varicose veins and hemorrhoids. Recurrent constipation will cause the veins in the rectal area to balloon and protrude causing itching, bleeding, and pain. Without treatment, they will progress into a state of thrombosis for external ones or prolapsed internal ones.

Find out how you can rid yourself of hemorrhoids within a few days using natural proven methods.
